The sugarbear gummies are a huge scam. The claim that "it takes 3 to 6 months for it to works" is super telling, because if the problem you had with your hair was coming from something that is not linked to a vitamin defiency (for example stress) 3 months is the time it takes for your hair to regrow and get better. So they are basically relying on people getting better by themselves and just selling them overpriced sugar. I've also been using Function of Beauty for 4 months now, and I'm so in love with the pear scent. Also I agree, I also got the feeling that my hair are extra clean. I've tried the mango & grapefruit scent for the mask and I'm less impressed by the smell, it smells mostly of grapefruit.

So many supplements are scams, and they sell them by touting "350% your daily allowance" of vitamin XYZ...your body can only absorb a certain amount of vitamin a day and then you excrete all the rest. Most people aren't going to have deficiencies unless there are mitigating circumstances, so it's better to just get the generic daily vitamin in bulk for cheap!

The only hair growth thing that ever worked for me, was minoxidil, an actual medical product. And function of beauty, is the only product that ever slowed down my oil production, in the scalp. I feel that the 16 oz of shampoo and 8 oz of conditioner, is the best option, because many use too much conditioner for their hair, which is quite unhealthy for it, and on top of that, they was it every single day.

The colour was pretty close, but not perfect. Also they say you have 2 weeks to try it, but you have to have posted it and have a shipping number by the 2 week mark, so more like 1 & 1/2 weeks. Plus idk what they could even do with the return besides throw it out. Not worth the money in my opinion

Okay so I tried it. The color match was fine for me. The price point was OKAY compared to other foundations I had used in the past. I really liked the formula and how it sat on my face. I have pretty normal skin, not dry, not oily. I didn’t use primer or anything and it went on really well and wore really well. I was excited to use the discount code they sent me to purchase a second bottle BUT…nowhere during their checkout process was I presented with a place to use the code. So I backed out and tried all over again, snd still nowhere to put the code. So when I completed the purchase, I emailed their customer service with the order number and discount code to see if they could help since there was nowhere to use it during the checkout process - and I was sure about it, cuz I double checked! I got back a response saying “I’m sorry, we can’t use them on orders you’ve already made, you have to apply them at checkout.” I said “I would have done that had there been a place to do that, what do I do when there’s nowhere to enter it?” “We advise copy and pasting it into the promo code spot.” “…I know how to use a code. There was no spot to put in the code.” “Sorry! We can’t add it to an existing order! Just copy and paste it in during checkout!” “But there was nowhere to paste it?” “Sorry to hear about that, but you can use it on your next purchase!” Y’all I won’t be MAKING a next purchase 😂😂😂

I dont know about others, but this video kind of bought me for estrid, I think I might get it soon. Just a bit annoyed that you only get 2 razor blades in the first order while in the others you get 4 but you have to spend the same amount of time there.. (like if you choose to deliver every 3 months, you have to spend the first 3 months with only 2 razor heads instead of 4)

I'd also love to hear if the glamnetic lashes stick to the other eyeliner. Because the eyeliner was honestly more expensive than the lashes

Would be interesting to know if the Glamnetic Eyeliner held the cheaper lashes better than the cheaper eyeliner....that would then maybe explain the stronger smell?

I LOVED this video, please do more of this kind of content 🥰 I love how detailed you are with your unboxings and first impressions. I’ve seen soo many youtubers advertise function of beauty recently but it’s just your standard ‘you can personalise it’ script while they hold up the bottles. It’s nice to see what you actually get in all of the boxes (although I don’t know how you managed to resist opening them before the video!!) and the vlogs of you using them all, especially your face when you tried the lashes 🤣 I love how honest and genuine your reviews are so thank you 💕 x

I'm loving everyone complaining about the price of the shampoo and conditioner, anyone with an afro will know how much our hair supplies cost. The deep conditioner, the detangler, the multiple different combs, the heat treatments, the oils, the special shampoos, the styling creams. They are so expensive, and normal store don't usually sell them, so you have to order them, and since we have so much hair, we use so much product. Aarrrggghh!!
@cherrywallis3 жыл бұрын
Haha yeah. Exactly. But also, it’s a fully customised shampoo and conditioner (they’re a decent size, personably 2x the size of a standard shampoo bottle). You get what you pay for in my opinion.
@jorge-anncostley52783 жыл бұрын
I do not use, but judging by the label, the sugarbear hair vitamins are 3 vitamins that contribute to hair growth & strength & can be taken separately. The 3-6 months is typical for people to see any real effect from them.
@smirglepapier5313 жыл бұрын
Thing is, the body isn't able to absorb all those vitamins. Besides that humans very rarely get such a vitamin deficit that those bears would do anything. Essentially, you are paying for very expensive pee...

Don't. Didn't work for me. Leaves terrible burns for some. Painful for me even at lower setting. Takes a lifetime to do every week (u must go over everything three times every week). Shipping takes a long long time from Hong Kong and they lie about where it's coming from. They charged my account an additional small amount and wouldn't refund me (some people get scam charged many times). I've heard they don't honor their return policy. Some people get import taxed. The list goes on why I hate kenzzi. I think 'influencers' are simply paid off to lie.

As someone who has used the sugar bears for about a year now, it's been instrumental in getting my hair to grow back quickly after I began hair-pulling as part of my anxiety a few years back. Yes, they are sweet, but they aren't that sweet for someone as addicted to chocolate and candy as I am, and it's more pleasant than a pill by miles. They have their own multi-vitamins as well if that's more your speed, I enjoy those as well but didn't find them necessary personally for my own routine. I'd honestly recommend everyone do their research on their own and pick the best option for their personal lifestyle as far as gummy vs pill and which brand, but the sugar bears themselves are not a scam whatsoever. Hope this helps everyone in making an informed decision! :)

Hey Cheryl 🤣🤣🤣 That was a fun video. I get loads of adverts popping up so I think this is a great idea for a video. Two that spring to mind are the Il Makiage Foundation and Concealer and Modibodi (though they might be a little too personal to review on your channel). I also get a lot of ads for Noom but since you're already working out and healthy eating that would be pointless. Always good to see your happy smiling face x

The real question is if the glamnetics lashes work with the off brand liner.
@ckaine18373 жыл бұрын
it only works with the magnetic liner because of the particles but with a regular eye liner it doesn't work. You can buy cheaper magnetic eye liner off ebay/alie express for cheaper tho. Works exactly the same.

I went out and bought the Eyelure magnetic lashes after seeing this and I was just as shocked as Cherry when she put on the glamnetix. I've never successfully put on eyelashes before. The eyeliner was a mess though. It was overly sticky (stuck my double eyelids together) and it spread while I was waiting for it to dry.

I would never order the gummy bears, but I am happy to see a good child lock on them. My mom never gave me vitamins, not after my older sister downed an entire bottle while my dad was "watching" her. Thankfully she threw them up if she hadn't she probably wouldn't be with us.
@kevski62163 жыл бұрын
you can't really die from something like that if it's a one time thing. Or get any lasting health issues. If you "overdose" on vitamins you just get sick, like your sister did.
@kitniec45403 жыл бұрын
I think she was about 3 and she ate an entire bottle in about 1 hour.
@kevski62163 жыл бұрын
@@kitniec4540 yeah but it's vitamins. not sleeping pills or other drugs. vitamins are just supplements, downing a whole bottle won't do much besides making you vomit or feel sick for a day. It's very unlikely to take any lasting harm from it.
