As much as this may just look like a game , it can open doors. I learnt it in high school and went to UKZN and made it into the chess team , so the first time I went to Cape Town was cause of this game while at varsity all expenses paid, I couldn’t a “board game” had such opportunities also varsities in SA have scholarships for chess.

Great work with those kids Lucky. Unfortunately the real chess environment in South Africa is quite distasteful and you are probably better off just bringing your community together in your space and improving their cognitive skills through game. But that flame of passion in your eyes is beautiful, just keep to what you are doing for those kids and the community.
