Two games, two losses, but with 75% and 79% accuracy.. I'm not playing any more opponents who are much lower rated than me, so the standard should get tougher, with better lessons learned. These games are no exception.

@1:20 I get that position a lot as a Scotch Gambit player. I used to play the same line as you as got some quick wins but if black figures out the line (as your opponent did) black is perfectly fine I find. Instead might want to check out 6.Nxc5 as recommended by the computer, as black needs to then find the move 6.Bb4 (which they don’t 98% of the time) or it’s at least +1.2 and far more playable for white.

Yeah it's one of those that looks far better than it actually is.

Just the one dog these days.. I had six at one point at my last place. And several cats, loads of chickens and ducks... and a wife. But you know, time moves on :-D

The first game was just a tactical miss fair enough. Second game 12:54 unforgivable chess sin. Enjoyed them both though. Thanks mate.

Pawn capture instead of bishop? That's me being too attack-oriented and forgetting to cover my arse.

Croatian flag is with a red-white checkerboard in the middle. One could also say a chessboard.

First game.. You said the N can't fork on C2 because your N on d4 is protecting, then you move the N. .. ok now on to watch the rest of the video. I wonder if earlier castling would solve some of these issues? Put off the attack until your pieces are secure?.. Second game,, just take the draw by repetition? but the K did cause problems on h6 pawn. Was there a draw there?

Good feedback, I could respond but I'm loath to go back and look over "historical" games :-D

Dresden is indeed in Germany, famous for being bombed nearly out of existence by the allies in WW2. The speedrun hasn't been preparing you for these tactically sharp opponents. Gotta grind those tactics.

Somehow everytime you lose, they might allegedly maybe perhaps be cheater. Isnt that a coincidence. Again buddy whenever you feel like it we can play again. Cheers
