5:53 the single pawn middle with the 2 pawns on third fleets. epic view

Also note Carlsen's sportsmanship in being first to point out his flag has fallen, when that responsibility was Nakamura's.

@PabloDPena At the end of the game Hikaru's manner would indicate that he has more time. Also as you play through the game you see that Magnus has lots of problems to solve and at the end of the game he is moving almost immediately on his 2s increment which, in part, leads him to blundering the exchange to 34...Nf3+. This clearly and strongly implies that Hikaru won, but just in case there's any doubt go to game number 1599842 on the chessgames website.

0:47 g5 !? very interesting, Magnus thought a long time to reply... Nakamura did very well here .. Classical games: Magnus Carlsen beat Hikaru Nakamura 7 to 0, with 15 draws. Including rapid/exhibition games: Magnus Carlsen beat Hikaru Nakamura 12 to 5, with 20 draws. Only rapid/exhibition games: Hikaru Nakamura tied Magnus Carlsen 5 to 5, with 5 draws. *The figures above are based only on games present in "Chessgames " which may be incomplete.

He didn't resign, he forfeit in time

Nakamura might have wanted to stop magnus' pawn from moving to h7 after the exchange at e5.

they don't even look in each others eyes when they shake hands.

@xDirectJABx Naka won on time. Carlsen extended his hand first, and as you can tell towards the end, he was running out of time, trying to make moves faster.

No-- Carlsen lost on time, he just hit his side of the clock after he had run out of time. See chessgames' record of the game.
