Love it when Jerry refers to bad pieces as 'clowns' lmao

As a long-time viewer of Jerry, I have incorporated this word in not only my chess vocabulary but also real life. Highly recommended, 10/10 satisfaction.

The players make chess look easy, and Jerry makes commentary look easy but all are masters of their craft.

Excellent analysis told in a comfortable tone not rushed or glossed over. This is an example of how chess games should be presented on You Tube. Keep up the good work.

KZbin is primarily for entertainment. Eventually, the people that waste hours watching useless short chess videos will realize that they're wasting their time. Chess takes time to master. There are no shortcuts other than getting a personal coach.

@@MrSupernova111 it's interesting that Jerry reached his level of mastery without a coach. I've never had a coach and my level of play has improved considerably by watching Jerry's videos on thematic issues and games by the likes of Bobby Fischer. This video is an instructive look at how two great GMs manage a closed position in a fast time control
@MrSupernova111

@@aquilesg.4859 . Bobby Fischer was also self thought. It doesn't make it easy and there certainly weren't any youtube videos around in Fischer's time.

@@MrSupernova111 I know Fischer's story and I think it's incredible that he learned russian to get full access to their published analysis, something that must have astounded his opponents I'd personally benefit from a coach, I am sure, but while I'm still improving well without one I will keep on going alone

Jerry's analysis is invaluable. What a gem we have in him ! A question : c5 was clearly a bad move by Polgar but what was she to have played ?
@ChessNetwork
@ChessNetwork 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Good question. I meant to share the better option for black but forgot. Instead of c5, considered best was to give up the knight for bishop and then make a play on the light squares. NxB+ QxB h3 c5 and we have a very dynamic position ahead that’s not easy to assess.

ratings faced the highest inflation in 2014, 2014 was relatively weak for magnus, where he finished 3 pts behind caruana in sinqfield cup, and didn't win norway chess

You say the pawn is poison and then tell us we were idiots for not taking it. You ran with your bishop to show it was poisonous then attacked with the exact same bishop to say we were fools later on? How rude.
