Suggestion: Cannonball chess Every two moves, Martin fires a cannon at a random square and if your piece is on that square it dies. But Martin's pieces have put on cannonball-proof armor so the cannonballs don't do anything to them. Also, both kings have the cannonnball-proof armor too. Good luck!

Reminds me of the game ‘Chesshousers’. In there, whenever you removed an obstacle or moved a piece, pieces kept going until they reached the next obstacle. The goal was to move your hand on the board and move the pieces like so that you could get through. Sometimes it was annoying if you made a wrong move it caused the piece to block the way.

Chess, but you are forced to move your queen like a pawn, 2 squares forward if it is the queens first move, only 1 square forwards if it is NOT the queens first move, and can capture diagonally the squares next to it. If you get your queen to the other side of the board successfully you can move it like as if it is a normal queen.
