The thing I notice to even be competitive at a sort of high level is Patience, you have to play so many just boring hang around moves, like treading water . Patience is so important

Hey bro, for some reason I can't see that link for the Scandinavian video. Can you share it here too so I can check it out? Sorry to be a pain, thanks.

What a difference a day makes 🤣 - I think you tilted the guy in the Sicilian - Like "Where did my Queenside go?" I had to rewatch that game a few times. Only wish he would have played on so I could learn more. Nice comeback from yesterday. Thanks for all you do.

That last game lol. If you are going to go that hard with those Pawns, if you're going to Castle you absolutely have to Castle Queen Side, something that isn't said very often.

Nelson actually castles queenside a lot He did it more often against the lower rated opponents though

@@DarthVader-wk9sd Well we gave him advice after the last stream (1) Don't hang your queen (2) Stay away from the poker tables 2 for 2 so far

@@DarthVader-wk9sd Nelson all but said it too, so it isn't bad advice. That player should have moved the Queen to Defend and castled Queen Side.

@@DarthVader-wk9sdYou're acting like Nelson doesn't make mistakes. He's humble enough to even admit his mistakes yet you somehow missed them all.

At 4:05, after the king takes back, you have Qb4 or Qc5 check. Unpinning the bishop while also gaining a move on the king. I don't see a way black can win back that tempo, so your bishop is saved.

After 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Nc3 ... you can keep insisting on the Stafford with 3 ... Bc5, to which best (though not most common) move 4. Nxe5 transforms into the Stafford (with the standard Bc5 response played a couple of moves early)

I guess in the last game he could trade the queen into the knight to survive a little longer. But it would be a lost game all the same

@47:17 see Nelson still won here without his Queen against white's two rooks! The worst mistake move was Queen ate the pawn then Nelson did double check King & Queen! GGs!

When you review your game and it is loading up the screen to tell you how many mistakes you make, it gives random numbers at first. It shows four mistakes around the 19:00 mark, but that isn’t how many you made. I’ve seen you misinterpret that a bunch of times in a lot of your videos. The first time they show mistakes its random numbers they put up. Only once it analyzes then it shows your actual numbers. So around the 19:00 mark I think your actual numbers were 0 blunders and 3 mistakes. It confused me at first too
@coltonjobes
@coltonjobes 9 ай бұрын
It’s not random it’s just cuz the initial pass with the engine is on a super super low depth otherwise it’d take forever to load the game.
@jrhenry24

@@coltonjobes at first its random. I have a line that is 100% accuaracy vs fried liver and it will initially show all kinds of random numbers then it shows you the real numbers.
