Chet, Mello Yellow is highly caffeinated. You are hooked, man! I always wondered why they put it in drinks. I thought it was for the addiction, but now I know that its even more insidious. Caffeine makes you thirsty. Its like free salted peanuts served in bars. I guess they can't caffeinate beer, but it sounds like a good idea since alcohol puts you to sleep somewhat.

I once planted popcorn next to normal eating corn back in 1980, and got some weird corn. Then I found out that wind pollinates corn, so I guess you have that covered in Minnesota, real good. I don't know beans about soy except it means "I am" in Mexico.

Hey Dougo I feel your pain farming by yourself. I’m doing it the old school ways. 6 row planter, marker arms, no auto steer, 6 row row cultivator, no chemical, bagged soybean seed (F my life), rotary hoe, tine weeder, small horse power equipment under 200 hp. On Almost 1000 acres. Oh yeah plus 500 acres of hay ground. Oh yeah And this is all a hobby! I have a full time job. But I love farming. Getting a lot better on the camera sir. Keep up the good work.

1. I liked the music for Dougo's window cleaning. Noticed it popped up elsewhere in this video. Is this going to become "Dougo's Theme?" 2. Chet needs work on his euphemisms. It's too many chiefs and not enough indians. Too many chefs, not enough cooks. 3. Dewalt makes a cell phone charger that runs off their 20 volt batteries of which you seem to have a veritable plethora. Might help with Chet's dead cell phone vs. social media issues. 4. I see Chet is practicing better snout management.

Interesting that you roll the fields AFTER planting, and Zack Johnson rolls their fields BEFORE planting. And Cole Cornstar doesn't roll at-all but Ryan Kuster in Wisconsin chain harrows. Here in southern NJ, my neighbors harrow and use a seed drill to plant corn and soybeans rather than row planters.

With the cold snap we're currently in,Id be more concerned with corn emergence.... We've replanted corn after it rots in the cold ground many times.... Soybeans are tougher in cold weather then most people think. The times we've replanted beans is mostly drowned out spots, wind cutting them off,or the occasional June hail storm.
