Amma I have followed the exact measurements and fried Ural Dal correctly and even grind some rice before grinding the muruku flour in mill...I cooled down and seived completely before preparing muruku..But I get very dark brown murukus if I take them out in golden brown it is undercooked...What could be the problem??? I didn't wash rice instead I cleaned them with wet towel as u said in this video...This is the only thing I'm concerned about. Can you help me? I have grinded about 1 kg of rice

I too faced the same problem like you today. I too followed all the steps exactly as told in the video, but I too soft dark brown murukku and it wasn't crisp at all. What could be the problem.?

Madam I followed all your criteria from home to mill then home But it is difficult to make the dough it is too sticky. And cannot remove the flour from fingers It is taking too long time to cook crispy Can you advice Mam ? If you take it as white murrukku it is very soft and not crispy why ? Please advice Mam

Apply little oil and roll the dough use a spatula to remove from fingers.The oil should be hot.drop a small bit of a dough it should rise immediately to the surface.do not adjust the flame while frying.

Madam, I followed all our instructions exactly. I even ground some extra rice in the flour mill before they put the murukku ingredients to powder. To say the truth I followed all your instructions verbatim but I got dark brown murukku and it was not crisp also. Please advise as to what could have gone wrong. I still have the some more of the murukku mavu, how can I set it right?

Sometimes due to the rice we use also turns brown oil should be hot while preparing.do no adjust the flame while frying.

Can you use shop bought rice flour for murukku recipes? I live in UK and grinding rice in a machine is not possible. Can I use normal rice and grind at home in a mixie ?

You can use store bought flour.If your mixing can grind fine then ok,otherwise the texture will be rough.
