good healthy breakfast, can chicken be used as filling instead of shrimp? it should be pre cooked bite sized perhaps?
@TasteofAsianFood4 жыл бұрын
You can use any filling. Pre-cook the chicken since the steaming is only 2 minutes.

Hello. Any substitute for the wheat starch? Like corn starch or potato starch? Thank you.
@TasteofAsianFood4 жыл бұрын
You can use cornstarch or tapioca starch, which works the same way. There is more information in the article on my blog, and the link is in the description below the video.

Wheat starch can I substitute to corntarch? Thank you
@TasteofAsianFood4 жыл бұрын
I have tried to use different types of starch (corn, wheat, tapioca). The result is identical. Therefore you can use anyone.

I can’t eat wheat flour, I have to make them gluten free. I’m very pleased I can make them with GF ingredients. 😉 I miss out on eating many foods, but this is a win win for me. Thank you, they look amazing

Below the square pan do you nid to put water again inside the silver bowl to steam ,tq
@TasteofAsianFood4 жыл бұрын
There is no need as the bowl is used to support my square pan (as it is not stable in the wok). You only have to add water to the wok.

Looks yummy. But I have a question please, is there a difference between rice flour and glutinous rice flour? Or are they the same.
@TasteofAsianFood4 жыл бұрын
This recipe needs rice flour 粘米粉, which is made with regular rice. Glutinous rice flour 糯米粉 is not suitable because it's too sticky.

when pouring the batter into the pan, you say 100 gm. Do you actually weigh it?
