I'm a huge costume drama/period piece fan as well as a history buff. I was somewhat familiar with the story, so I was really intrigued to see it on the big screen. I'm slightly worried about the real history versus what might be fictionalized here, but now I'm really excited to see the aspects of the direction that you mentioned. 👌👌👌

The movie was excellent. What a masterpiece. I always love to see my people in an excellent light. Chevalier was ahead of his time.

I recorded my review for this one yesterday. I had a guy fall asleep in the back of the theater and he snored the whole time. I did enjoy it. It’s such a small time in his life though.
