UPDATE All of my Chevelle covers have now been unblocked on KZbin. "Ouija Board", "The Damned", "Under The Knife", and "Choking Game" are all back up. It seems the company that blocked them simply didn't want the songs up on KZbin before the album officially came out, so since La Gargola was released today, all the claims have been lifted. Thanks for all the support on these Chevelle covers, I really appreciate it!! And tabs are coming soon!! \m/\m/

Anybody checking out this video, I've also covered "Ouija Board", "The Damned", "Under The Knife" and "Choking Game" off of La Gargola, but they've all been blocked on KZbin. If you're interested in seeing them, check out my Facebook page: facebook.com/MysticGuitar77 . I'm uploading them all there since KZbin isn't cooperating. Thanks! \m/\m/

the metal elitist wouldn't think chevelle and think heavy, but this song alone proves they are quite heavy.

Pete uses a fuzz pedal. I believe he mentions which one he uses in this vid: Rig Rundown - Chevelle's Pete Loeffler & Dean Bernardini
@josephsmith80877 жыл бұрын
Is it just distortion, or is there an octave pedal
@MysticGuitar777 жыл бұрын
Distortion with a fuzz pedal.
@josephsmith80877 жыл бұрын
MysticGuitar77 oh, tbh, it sounded like an octave effect at the intro, but I wasn't sure, but thank you for clearing that up.
@LCW_0110 жыл бұрын
What fuzz pedal are you using?
@MysticGuitar7710 жыл бұрын
I didn't play it with any fuzz like the song, I just played it with my regular distortion.

Luc Wilson its a digital amp, and you don't get a good sound from them like I do with my Blackstar tube amp. if you want a really really good sound get a tube amp if you only played on standard or digital amps and then play on a tube amp you will not sound as good because you are not as good as you can be, a tube amp will show you your mistakes and reward you greatly when you play properly.. not trying to say what he was playing was bad he did a great job it would of sounded better on a tube amp and he would of played it better.
@MysticGuitar779 жыл бұрын
Bandit Darvil You can get decent tone out of a digital amp if you know how to tweak them properly. The reason they have such a bad reputation is because a lot of people that use them just crank all the knobs to 10 and that's why their tone sounds like crap, they just don't know how to fine-tune the tone, you see it with tube amp players as well. A lot of tone comes from the player themselves too. A good player can make any guitar or amp sound good, doesn't matter what they're playing on. Yes, tube amps sound better, I can't disagree there, but digital amps have their purpose as well. They're a lot cheaper and they're versatile and they usually come with a full pedalboard full of effects built-in. And like I said, they can sound decent at bedroom level volumes, when you start cranking the volume, that's when you really start to lose tone, especially with the Line 6's and this is coming from somebody who's played almost every kind of amp make you can think of. The amp doesn't make the player, the player makes the player, that's something I very strongly believe in and I've seen it first-hand work both ways.
