Hell yeah it is! Search around KZbin for the one documented time that he did this song and this scream live (uses his white PRS baritone in it I think). He really builds it up for the crowd and does not disappoint on the execution! BTW I just found your channel today and am pissed that I have been missing out for so long! Fantastic work on every song I have touched so far. But even more impressive is the insane depth of the library. Going deep into the albums and not just the hits. This is like Christmas for me as I have the same interest across all of these alternative metal groups, and this is the same stuff that I feel inspired to play when I pickup my guitars. Guess I'll go on and throw this out there. I have eventually gotten the urge for more new material to start listening to, you know because this genre has been getting less and less active over the past ~10 years and a good bit of the relatively deminimis amount of newer material has not really excited me as much. I have found a good amount of new to me stuff in the metalcore and post hardcore realms, but I don't feel as inspired to start covering this stuff. It does not help that it also requires quite a bit more skill than where my abilities are at for the most part and the rhythms are off track with what I have become ingrained with. I guess the point of all of this is I look forward to digging through all of your stuff to find some new to me stuff, and hope you might also find some actual new and interesting stuff that I might not find on my own.

Great job man. You're really good at what you do. This is my all time favorite song by my favorite band. Nice to see that their stuff isn't too too technical if I ever decide to get back into learning to play again.

My all time favorite song by my all time favorite band (for 20 years now) as well. First saw them live in 2003. Last one was last year. So many in between. I’ve listened to Emotional Drought at least 1,000 times since ‘04. It’s the perfect song. Every single note, lyric, chord, tuning, timing, etc. EVERYTHING. is just perfect. I’ve claimed this is the perfect song since I first heard it in 2004 and as of 2023, still haven’t heard any other song that beats it.

Love this song. What gauge strings are you using? Is that a standard guitar or baritone?
@MysticGuitar774 жыл бұрын
Standard scale, 12-56 gauge strings.
