@BalJeet-j5k so to get your question right: Smoke comes out of the valve cover when the engine is in operating temperature, correct? Where exactly from the valve cover the smoke comes out?

Hi! From what company/where did you buy the circuit board for the tachometer? If there's a link or website, that would be awesome. Great video. Thank you and God bless you.
@@BalJeet-j5k I have a link in the description of this video.

Thanks for the info. I replaced my board. Tach works now. But oil pressure is reading about 8 psi but I confirmed with mechanical gauge it should be 35 psi. I put 96 ohms across the wire but still was low. About 15 psi at 96 ohms. Any advise?

Thanks for your comment. I had a problem with the oil pressure gauge as well. The problem it's not the gauge itself. It's the oil pressure sensor, located next to the oil filter. Replace it and you are done.

Did that too. Measured ohms across new sensor. 86 ohms. Still only 15 psi should be 40

@Keeterbob if the pressure remains the same when the engine is cold or hot, then more than likely, the gauge is faulty. If the pressure is higher with a cold engine, then there's an issue with the engine (given you have a new oil pressure sensor). A good way to see the difference in oil pressure is in wintertime. Or you can try a thicker SAE engine oil and record the results. Are you sure that the needle of the gauge had not been removed and relocated on the gauge? People do that sometimes when the gauge indicates extremely high oil pressure.

It’s not the engine. I connected a mechanical gauge and had 35-46 psi. The pointer moves up a little but not much when I start it. Reving the engine had no effect. I ground the tan wire and pointer stays at zero. I disconnect the wire and pointer pegs at 60. I need to trace the wire to see where the tan wire goes into the dash. Something shorting it to ground partially. I get 86 ohms from the sender but 170 at the post behind the gauge in the dash

@@Keeterbob I think you are right and you may have found where the problem is. Let me know how it goes!
