I love my 08 Convertible! If your getting a 6spd MT get a car with HUD because it revs so fast it's easier to watch your rpm and the road. The trunk is a huge bonus, I can fit two golf bags even with the top down. Gas mileage is 19mpg city, 30+ at a steady 70mph (compared to 13mpg of my C3). Look for one with the NPT exhaust option, it sounds great.

​@@smithma4275My brother in christ, the C6 looks so dated now. The front end just looks goofy especially the headlights. Even the C5 has aged better. If the C5 had hidden door handles, it would have been perfect. That's the positive aspect of the C6 design language.

Im truly looking to buy a 2008 Corvette with the auto 6 speed with the z51 package. It is just a great condition car and has alot more power than the early c5s with the 6 speed manual that I couldn't believe how's much quicker the ls3 is plus with a few boltons like headers,cam, intake, performance torque converter, it would be beating stock C6 Z06s. It's an amazing car and engine (LS3). Even though I love all LS engines but LS3 surprised me. Anyone know the top speed of the auto 2008 LS3 with the Z51 package?

just to inform those that are unaware...the automatics are actually faster than a standard, the suspension can be adjusted to the point you almost think you are in a luxury car and as I wouldn't use mine as a daily driver as to not rack up miles to preserve resale value...if you intend to keep the car it is perfect for daily driving.

The instrument panels are LED lights (or some sort of digital light) - they aren't a constant light like say a traditional light bulb. They flash very rapidly - so fast that the eye cannot pick up on it. Cameras record at a certain frame rate, and it usually clashes with the frequency with which these lights flash. That's why you'll see car wheels appear to turn backwards, and modern cars appear to have flashing lights when recorded in slow motion (or if you see videos of people trying to record television with a video recorder, you get the lines that go up or down on the screen). Clear as mud? =)

No animals aside from birds could have been in contention, and the incoming traffic was on a separate divided bridge.
