And all of this stuff with mount done and not supporting the engine from down? Is this a little bit of risky or it is not mandatory for rear mount disassembly?

Typically replacing lower mounts it's not required to support unless trying to realign bolt holes. But anytime an upper mount is replaced you have to support the engine or transmission with a jack since the upper mounts actually hold it up.

Has anyone ever had car vibrations at low rpm? Car jumping a bit when starting from 0 or when you shift to 2nd gear and start to accelerate? I think that it's most likely this rear engine mount but don't know for sure. Is there maybe a way to examine rear mount while it's still on?

Yeah, so this is definitely not the way this should be done. Do not remove the electric steering pump! There are two really long bolts that attach this assembly to the frame, you can easily get to them from underneath the nuts are on top. Take out these two bolts and pry the assembly forward slightly, the mount bolt will come right out

Hi Steven This is the same setup on my insignia and I cannot see how you can access the top nuts as they are under the electric power steering motor. Am I missing something??? Cheers

@@JPFORREST1 You're not missing anything. It's not possible to remove the bolts without removing the power steering motor. In fact, the GM manual for the first generation 1.4L Cruze instructs their techs to remove the entire power steering assembly to get those bolts out.

The nuts have to be removed from the top of the frame on my 2014 Cruze diesel. So the power steering pump definitely has to be removed.
