I re-installed a missing glow plug solenoid and replaced a faulty glow plug in this 1984 M1028. I also discuss the theory of how the glow plug wiring works in this vehicle. Its a little more complicated since these trucks have a hybrid 12/24 volt electrical system.
This video should apply to any M1008, M1009, M1028, or M1031 series vehicle. The M1010 ambulance would be a little different and I don't cover the M1010 in this video (since I don't have any experience with an M1010).
I also only cover "stock" wiring in this video. I don't get into what you need to do to bypass the resistor and convert to 12v.

*A note about advertisements in my videos*
I do not monetize my videos. That means that I do NOT place advertisements before, during, or after my videos. However, a recent change by KZbin allows KZbin to place advertisements with my videos. I do not support this change but don't have a way to opt out. I don't want ads before, during, or after my videos, but am powerless to stop it short of leaving KZbin.
