Wow! in over 50 + years working on vehicles, I've never seen anything go undetected so long ! anyway glad you spotted the issue before it took the road again!

Please use a dust mask my friend (eyes, ears and LUNGS too). You did such a good job of both showing and explaining what you were doing. I want to make sure you are around to teach more and have a good healthy body when your retirement years come.. Thanks again!

Great production, I like how detailed you make your videos, without going on and on about the problem. Just enough information to get the point across, KEEP IT UP, cause you got my sub and likes!

Thx for screen repair. Been driving my 01 Silverado the past two yrs. with this problem. Dealer told me it was probably in the wiring harness because they couldn't find, repair was going to be big bucks. My solution was to pull the fuse that operated the ABS and because I hate seeing messages on the dash, electrical tape over the fix lights. [Haa] Now that lm ready to sell truck will have to address the problem. Thx again...

I had almost the same repair on a Chevy here in MN - rusted out caliper and ABS had to be fixed. My ABS light is still on - he says it's just some rust on the sensor.

Thanks for helping by creating this video. To the clown who said you need more editing to stay on topic, SHUT IT! I like the rambling, it just shows you're human and you enjoy what you do.

Thanks for the video I have the same noise in my silverado should I replace the bearing or just the sensor
@CrazedPerformanceRepair4 жыл бұрын
Sadly a cheaper bearing doesn't cost much more so may as well do the bearing. I would invest the extra in a good one though myself. Now if you happen to have a sensor lying around then eh give it a shot why not? Good source for part is rockauto of course.

How would I get the bearing out if I don't have an air hammer? Any suggestions? Thanks
@CrazedPerformanceRepair Жыл бұрын
BFH and some accurately placed hits. Or a very large slide hammer if it's not too stuck.

You got my sub. Very nice job. I have to disagree with dingdongdillybean as I liked the music. Nice production. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos. Thank you for sharing.

First video I've seen that captures that sound perfectly! I have the same problem on my F150. Watching further I've gotta say; some editing to stay on the specific stated topic would be appreciated.
