Its actually a good thing that a dealer will reach out for help vs loading up the parts cannon and fixing. ....nothing.

How true. Its a parts changer world out there. Limited diagnostics. Lets change the part and charge the customer for it even if it doesn't fix the problem.

Could i copy the original file from the CNG tuned computer and upload it to the replacement computer using EFI Live? Just curious if you know.

Something doesn't add up. Why would they need someone to do a standard module program and replace? Its nothing to pull the software on the old module and use it to program the new one. And even if you can't do that, their scan tool should be able to download the original programming from when the car was built, and use that to program the new module. After that, update to current software. Lube techs do this type of programming on a daily basis.

It has a custom CNG program in it as the CNG conversion is not stock.

@@L1Training I love how they try to lock us out of directly modifying stuff because "we might mess things up" but then call us when they need more access than their tooling will allow.

Its designed for bench, but can usually be done OBD.
