Chevy HHR heater fan replacement simple and easy

There is also a new heater/ac fan that comes with a bracket and screws you can use instead of the attwood 7200. But you still have to cut out the old fan the same way done in this video. A razor knife will cut out the old fan pretty easily.

Cody the Car Guy I watched your video and found something better. Parts geek has a replacement part for $60 new. Cut the old out like you showed us but the new part just screws right in. Part # 75778 flanged vented CCW blower motor W/wheel. Just plug and play. Hope this helps for future installation.

Soooo. I changed one today and you are no guy guy my friend. You don’t silicon the new one back up there. You cut out the original one and replacement one has a flange with screw holes. This guy will fuck your shit up I promise you that. He fucked this one up

They come out really easy nice video the one I had to take out I just hit it with a hammer 🔨 😆 and put the new one in from a junk yard I took out with some bigger washers in out side screw holes works grate better then changing the hole vac you you have a link for the new fan ? I check Walmart for attwood 7200 with no results never know when I might have to do it again cause all hhrs and Cobalts are like this

Our fan stopped then after 4 months with no money to fix the check engine light came on two sensors were changed and that fixed the fan, missing and $435.00 later everything works again!!!

average cost? parts&labor plz autozone site says $90 but shop originally said 75. but a total of $300 total cost)

Thanks for the vidio it helped, but the fan still does not work after i replaced the fan and resister. Got any advice that could be helpful?

If you've already checked the fuses I Suggest looking at the control unit. This will likely get to you far too late. But I'm just about to replace my own motor, But I was smart enough to plug it in and test to see if that was the issue before driving out of the auto parts store. I also find it funny that auto zone says to cut it out, and the replacement motor comes with a metal ring and screws to hold it in place. I miss the days when parts in cars were easy to get to and replace.

Unfortunately u have to cut it out piece of shit is trash some of the newer blower moters come with the ring if not you have to buy a ring along with the blower motor
