Should have used automotive crimp connectors. Wire nuts are more for household and can vibrate loose

I have same car with the same problem today, 7/12/24. I had no bolt retaining the Resistor module but only held in place by the 2 pieces of plastic that you showed that you broke off. I'm so pissed! This small module could have easily been mounted in a more accessible place to facilitate a repair.

What if the blower motor stayed runing even while car is off? U replace the blower motor still stays runing then u get a new fuse it still stays runing. Could it be the resistor ir the switch for the fan speed?

Bro, you should have just left the old connector if you were going to use wire nuts. The new connector is just incase the old connector is burnt up.

The replacement connector didn't have ends for the power and ground. So the old power and ground have to be spliced in.

The manual in the parts box I received said to splice the 3 wires into the old ones. For some reason you get increased dependability. Seriously, that's what the paper said but I have zero ways to verify this, LOL.
