Soooooo hard to choose but for me it's probably:- 1. Petra - On Fire (first band I ever saw live at Brixton Academy and my favourite band ever since as a Christian and lover of melodic rock); 2. Def Leppard - Hysteria (where it all began in around 1987 when I heard my brother blasting out this LP in his room and I fell in love with the music); 3. Bon Jove - Slippery When Wet ('Livin' on a Prayer' was one of my first singles I heard and I will never forget hearing it for the first time! Unbelievable). Big mentions to Harem Scarem 'Mood Swings' that made them on of my top 5 favourite bands now with so many consistently stunning albums since, Winger 'Pull' and previous 2 albums, Skillet 'Comatose' for more modern heavier Christian symphonic rock and Daughtry 'Leave This Town' for my favourite of many brilliant albums by possibly the greatest singer in rock music. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many more I could mention but these are my top 3 and other top top favourites.

1. Elvis Presley - Blue Hawaii Was my first LP that i ever bought when I was 7. I really started to enjoy Rock'n'Roll. My fav RnR is Jerry Lee Lewis. 2. Die Toten Hosen - Im Auftrag des Herren (Live) This Album has great songs with great Lyrics. Was like the album that rocked me through the teenage years and nowadays it reminds me of these years :) 3. Gamma Ray - Land of the Free II Best PowerMetal Album ever.

It's a difficult challenge, 3 albums. There's a big difference between the 3 I play the most and the 3 that had the most profound effect on me. The 3 that had the biggest effect on me growing up were: 1) Twisted Sister - You Can't Stop Rock N' Roll (Mark 'The Animal' Mendoza's basslines used to make my bedroom windows flex like a sheet in the wind) 2) Dio - Holy Diver/Def Leppard - Pyromania - this is one choice as I had these 2 back-to-back on a tape in the car for about 3 years and wore out several copies 3) Bob Seger - Best Of - I remember hearing 'Hollywood Nights' as a 15-year-old and being blown away. This best of compilation has this track, We've got Tonight, Night Moves, The Fire Inside as well as my all-time favourite song 'Against The Wind' - check this one out Chez if you've not heard it. some of the piano breaks and slide guitar solos are to die for :-)

I think I would have had that second choice worn out too! Great choices there Jim! I am now currently listening to the Bob Seger stuff you mentioned and I'm really enjoying it. It's got a really chilled, relaxing vibe. Summer, chill out tunes

I have the version of Steeheart with the other cover. Now this will probably sound a bit weird, but when I first got it it was on cassette. When I got round to buying the CD I found out there were two different covers. So when I went to buy it because I had the other cover on cassette I wanted the same cover on CD, so I ignored any copies that had the cover you have (see told you I was weird). Anyway top three albums is a tough one as at last count I have a CD collection that is just shy of 3,000 albums. I'd have to go with my fave band for starters and my fave album by them, Motley Crue - Dr Feelgood. Second (this is where it starts getting tough). I would probably go for Pretty Boy Floyd - Leather boyz with electric toyz. And number three. Warrant - Cherry pie. I wanted to pick Poison, GNR, Lepp, EZN, Skid Row, LA Guns, Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Lita Ford, Vixen etc etc etc but where do you stop?

Great wee insight Chez and totally surprised by the first two, but knew off your love for Blackbird so no surprise there. For me to pick 3 albums is virtually impossible as i was a teenager from the 70's I was spoiled with so much innovative music but i would need to have a real think about that one. Yeah would be good if all 7 members of Kane'd would be able to do this vlog would be interesting to hear who their choices were

Glad you enjoyed the video CM :) Haha, yeah, I'm pretty sure all 7 of us have completely different choices. It's crazy how different music and bands have an impact on different people! It's quite fascinating! I challenge you to say the first 3 albums that come to mind... go!

My first cd was Def Leppard. They have a lot of under appreciated songs. My personal favorite is Rock Rock 'Til You Drop. Steelheart very underrated. We All Die Young.

My favourite 3 albums are no1-Bon Jovi New Jersey best album of theirs career, no2- giuffria silk+ steel album , David glen eisleys vocals are immense ,not a bad song on the album . Then gene simmonds took over management and replaced the singer and guitarist, and they were then known as house of lords, check out their debut album it’s a masterpiece but not in my top 3 , it’s no 4 , my no 3 is dare - out of the silence , a masterpiece all the way through , it’s a must listen to album, check it out chez .

It was hard to decide because there are sooooo many that have inspired me but when I decided to do this video, these 3 instantly came to mind so I went with it :) I'll talk about more at a later date no doubt! How did I guess that Stone Sour would be in there for your choices? Haha! Never heard of the first choice, I assume that where mr's stage name came from? I'll have to check that out!

Chez Kane Haha yes he was an inspiration, he’s a Japanese artist but his latest album was in English and it’s sooo good 🧡 Stone sour had to be in there somewhere but the new album as it was the most recent gig we went too and I took Zan and my sister it was an amazing night with my favourite people 🥰 can’t beat it!! It’s interesting that you found yours through Harry! I was introduced to incubus by Zan and now I don’t go a day without listening to at least one track!!
