Good job. We do appreciate all the effort put in realizing all those videos and sharing them with the community. 👍🏽 I was wonderring if we should not change the way we teach, mainly maths and stats. Today, real value-added is in having people understand the intuition. The why and when. Not the how that is easily done by a computer. I think more emphasis should be put on explaining with plain words what each row total, column total means. Explain what figures should look like if AI usage had nothing to do with age then the other way arround. Focussing too much on formulas, numbers and mathematical/statistical terms do scare people away. Among those who will follow till the end, some may have great scores in their exams but not really be able to effectively use khi2 test in the real life. The notions of Expected and Observed values are key here and deserved more focus. Once we understand and feel them, khi2 becomes just kind of a common sense.

Really good points. However, what you’re asking is already in textbooks and all over the internet. Instructors also explain those in class. My videos are not “teaching.” They are just overviews/summaries/reinforcements of what students already learned in class. I don’t expect students to fully understand the topic in under 7 minutes. Also note that over 95% of people who will view this video will not apply it in real life. They simply need it to fulfill the requirement of a course and move on. Nonetheless, you’ve highlighted strong points and a different channel might be required to address them.

Duplex Textile Ltd, makes executive and standard dresses. An executive dress requires 60 minutes for cutting, 50 minutes for sewing, 40 minutes for finishing and 15 minutes for inspection and packaging. A standard dress requires 42 minutes for cutting, 30 minutes for sewing, 60 minutes for finishing and six minutes for inspection and packaging. The firm employs 35 tailors who spend a maximum of 630 hours for cutting, 600 hours for sewing, 708 hours for finishing and 135 hours for inspection and packaging every week. The profit contribution per dress is Sh. 1500 for the executive dress and Sh. 1350 for the standard dress. Formulate as a linear programming problem and solve. Need your assistance on this. Please help.
