Chiappa 60DS CO2 airgun - initial tests

Is the 60DS simply a 50DS with a bit more barrel, or was work done on the trigger?
Magic 8-ball says unlikely.
Anyway, I was wondering about the trigger and if the barrel was actually longer, and it's my birthday soon, so I figured WHY NOT spoil myself.
I do really like the looks of the gun, and I've seemingly got used to the trigger, so eh, works for me.

I don't know if anyone cares about my dumb opinions in short form like this, but I was curious about the trigger and barrel, and thought I'd share my thoughts on them in case anyone else was similarly curious. Sure, it'd be better if I was more scientific, but I'm just a raccoon, I guess. And as always, if there's something you'd WANT me to cover, let me know!

I quite like the double action trigger (which is unusual in general for me) on the 50DS, it has a really definitive wall right before a crisp break, the single action trigger is terrible it's like 10 lbs or something equally stupid!

I absolutely agree. It's so bizarre how much better double-action is than single-action with this! The wall on my 50DS was incredibly hard to begin with, only after a few hundred shots did it become nice and crisp. This 60DS feels like that, out of the box. I think I was also making the mistake of being too gentle with the trigger, where it makes more sense to go crashing through the first stage, to overcome the cylinder rotation, hitting that crisp wall, and then second stage. So yeah, takes a bit of getting used to, but worth it in the end.
