I know it kinda comes off as a random detail in this adaptation that is just amazing as a whole, but am I the only one enjoying the performances of the voice actors? A bunch of new characters, especially villains, are introduced in this arc and the VAs definitely made a good impression and gave a good base for their respective character.

Todoroki is the resident hottie of the class, everything he does is to make him look more attractive. He had his ice prince phase pre-sports festival, now it's his kind prince phase. Also in terms of looks for the guys, Bakugou is actually handsome (he inherited his looks from his mom and they both have the glycerin-like secreting quirk, which helps make their skins smoother, plus he wont suffer from acne), too bad he has a trashy personality.

A good example of keeping continuity was Deku trying to breathe fire as a kid. When meeting with the doctors, his Mom had said that she can make things levitate to her and Deku's father can breathe fire, which is both of the things Deku said he tried to do as a child.

Can someone please explain to me why this anime has such high production value? Everytime i ask this question its always "Well bones is animating" or "because bones!" but no one ever gives me a genuine reason. This is especiallu frustrating considering anime like Nanatsu no taizai and Tokyo ghoul have mediocre animation but are made by multimillion dollar studios. Like every scene in this episode has some kind of sakuga in it and its crazy (KINDA LIKE OPM) the scene where midoriya is talking with todoroki has more movement than most of the naruto fight scenes. I just want to know why bones: a studio smaller than toei and perriot are able to create such insanely well animated shows...

Because bigger studios like Toei and Perriot know with most of their series, whatever they put out, people will most definitely watch and sell. Especially with Toei and DBS, they know if they slap on “dragon ball” on anything they animate, itll do well, so theyre not as focused and passionate about their projects, plus they usually do continuous animes, which will bring the animation quality down. On the other hand, MHA is an up and coming big hit with crazy hype in the east and west, also its a seasonal anime, so the quality will always be better and itll probably keep on getting better (as you can see from season 3 compared to season 2&1). Studio Bones has been always great with their work so im not surprised, unlike Perriot and Toei who have disappointed before, yet still keep getting big name shows to adapt because of their name and history (DBZ, Naruto, etc.)

They're only going to be there for 1 week and most of that's dedicated to training/trying not to die from villain attacks, there's not enough time. Also, as Todoroki stated, Deku has a tendency to go straight to the root of the problem, which can be really annoying.

LOLOLOLOLOL My Hero Academia is one of the rare cases where anime is way better than the manga that they even add scenes. I wish though that the anime would include the side info the author comes up with. Sadly those are very scattered, some in the author's panel, some in the databook, some in his twitter account. Like the flashback to eraserhead and present mic choosing their hero names, those were from the author's panel, but having them in the anime provided some backstory and comedy at the same time.

and to think this will be the turning point where things become more crazy from now that will eventually lead into the concept of what it means to be a "Hero" in this world. On that note, with current developments of the My Hero Academia series with the constant push to question the Hero system and what it means to be a Hero in the manga currently, I greatly hope that the Vigilante Team joins the main series instead of remaining in their side-storyline/prequel manga. The current events of the manga is just right up their ally on the issue with the current Hero System and it would be great if Deku and Koichi meet then becomes friends since they both have the same belief about being a Hero even though they both act as Heroes through different side of the "law" (Deku as the "Legal Hero" and Koichi as the "illegal Hero")
