Do you "question her parenting" BECAUSE there is no male with her? Maybe you should find her son's father and question HIM. You want to know why a 37 y.o. was with 17 y.o. then go play 20 Questions with the killer.

@@nymeria7239 I question her parenting because her CHILD is dead. I question her parenting because her CHILD was killed by a 37 year old man who was not a family member. I question why no man in her family is standing beside her in these trying times. Does not any of this strike you as being odd or is this the norm in your community?

@@nattydreadlocks1973 Going by your screen name, this would be YOUR community too. Yes, unfortunately "her child was killed by a 37 year old man who was not a family member" - would it have made it any better if he WAS a family member? If you "question why no man in her family is standing by her in trying times" go ask the MEN! What "strikes me as odd" is your continual fault finding with the mother, when as a man you should be asking where your fellow male - the FATHER - is and what HE thinks of all this, yet you continually harp on the woman, who is very likely not alone - especially in a situation like this - by choice.

The youngster will surely be missed by his mother. Being late to this news item, can anyone tell me how Fuh-him lured the youngster (half his age!) to that house? Why would they be playing a game at their ages? Really beside the point, but I am curious, so please forgive me, when did this habit of having enormous groups of people standing for the testimony? When I was young, one person testified in court--never a crowd.

When you see an older unrelated man with a teen boy........its unevenly yoked and something is not right. There can't be a solid reason why these two were in a house together. Check the history of that house and the answers will come.

Nothing makes sense in this homicide! The real truth is that a young man is very dead! Why would this national guard prospect be hanging out with a felon? Why was a gun involved, period? My bet is that something illicit was involved and somebody got either robbed or burnt ( no pun intended) in the deal. Something feels fishy in this episode!

It seems mom does not want to disclose why her son was hanging out with this sketchy dude in the first place. And that’s fine. But there are many incidents of predators online that target the naive and vulnerable. This guy probably is responsible for a lot of unsolved murders of people being found dead in alleys or abandoned buildings. PLENTY of those cases in Chicago. I’m glad she got justice. I just hope justice doesn’t set him free again. Smh
