Ryan poles is looking to build his version of kanas City hiring Kyle Shanahan would be exactly that a point i agree with as well the Andy Reid timeline from his transition from philly to KC to me Matt Eberflus was the placement holder coach until poles could get the books manageable and his quarterback the final two pieces he’s missing from seeing his vision of the bears taking the north would be spending the bag and drafting day 1 starters for the offensive lineman getting one more pass rusher opposite of sweat and hiring Kyle and allowing him to be your andy reid and begin to steer this franchise out of purgatory and into competent winning football competing for titles and not early offseason vacations

Owners only hire assistant coaches from losing teams. Bears fans hoping for a winning coach are in for disappointment. The Bears never have and never will pay up for quality coaches. You have to be a fan for 40 years to see the pattetn.

If we have to pick between Shanahan and Johnson it needs to be Shanahan he has a system that’s proven to be consistent plug and play any QB and the been a SB contender no more 1st year head coaches!

I've never gotten into having coaching preferences before the process starts... All the guys being discussed are decent options. I am tired of the Bears being cheap. I would actually like them throwing a bag at Lincoln Riley simply because it's a ballsy move.

I would rather have Ben Johnson, I know he is going to be popular in the off season so if he does get snatched up Kyle is a good second option.

I honestly would be comfortable with either but if pressed to choose I’d say Ben Johnson, or he’ll even Dan Lanning for that matter just because of the unknown qualities. You know what you’re getting with shsnahan and that is both good and bad where it’s unknown with the other two. They could be horrible or they could become the next Dan Campbell.
