Correct. If he knew he was taking a QB at 1, the logical decision was to hire an offensive minded HC to pick his QB. Poles knows better coming from Kansas City. And he’s done more good than bad as a GM. Which leads me to believe the McCaskeys meddled in the decision to keep Flus. They didn’t want to pay to fire and then hire and pay to bring in a new staff. Hey Poles can you maybe admit that it is on you for the state of the Oline? You and your crew made some terrible picks/FA instead of investing in quality Oline especially Center (Velus, Claypool, Davis, Patrick). Also you have preached having players with positional versatility so WHY Nate Davis?? He ONLY plays RG and doesn't like to practice and it shows. Instead of signing him you could have gotten a versatile Guard and Tevin could have played at his best spot - RG. Also it's widely broadcast around the country that our Head Coach is one of the worst in the league in game management (Very Good DC but horrible HC). Our Oline and RB coach is very suspect as well. YOU should have aligned our rookie QB with a new offensive minded HC or strong coach like Harbaugh, now we have the cycle repeating with a lame duck shit coach who may deserve to be fired this year. All I ask is don't ruin our QB and go Oline heavy in FA and the draft next year.

I'm calling it right now, Poles biggest flaw is his inability to separate the person and the player. Hes too invested in his relationships that he keep giving his players and coaches chance. after chance after chance. The Bears will be stuck with mediocre players and a HC cause he doesn't know how to let people go
