We still had downs where we could have moved the ball closer. We only needed like 3-5 yards to get it in his range. People need to stop blaming santos. They drained 83 seconds on the two plays following the two-minute warning; it's like they were trying to run out their own clock. On 3rd and 14 the clock ran down to 1:15--they actually huddled and drained the entire 40 second play clock before the snap WHILE THE GAME CLOCK WAS RUNNING. And then on the following 1st and 10, the clock ran down to 0:37. Then Caleb threw an incomplete pass, stopping the clock at 0:31. Then, while the clock was stopped, the play clock ran out and they had to use the timeout that saved no time. I've never seen worse two-minute drill clock management in my entire life.

This team needs Johnson as the head coach and Robert Saleh for the defensive coordinator. But even with the right coaches this team is still 4-5 players away from each side of the ball. That means this team won’t have what it takes for another 2-3 years. Then there will be contracts up and then you possibly lose decent players. Man I hope before I die I’m able to see the real monsters of the midway back in this town. None of us ever thought that this would’ve happened to this team. Maybe Poles is just learning on the fly and that’s why we are seeing the unthinkable. Bill Belichick was right Poles built this team backwards. Poles admitted during an interview yesterday that the slow starts stem back to training camp...what!!! My opinion that is a huge indictment on him and his decision making on coaching hires, culture. The Oline leaking like a sieve is on Poles lack of quality investment (2nd cheapest Oline in NFL), and retaining Chris Morgan. Clean reset and align a new GM with the HC. Week 17 Caleb review Sacks- 4 Caleb’s fault and 2 on the OL/blocking Missed/skipped/late reads- 10! Drive1: -2&1, nice check down to Swift -2&5, Wright overset and allowed 10 a free run at Caleb who got a nice chip from Swift but force otp for throw away -3rd&5, Caleb had 2 open hot reads but was late to Allen and short. Allen should have caught it Drive2: -3rd&6, Rome settled but should have kept running (incomplete) vs cover-2 deep middle Drive3: -2&7, Caleb stepped into the SACK for no reason. Had wide open check down to swift with a lead blocker in Johnson -2&10, Kmet and Keenan both wide open and settled vs zone. Caleb passed on both and got pressured at 3.5+ second mark. Throw away Drive4: -2nd&3, Caleb again has over 3 seconds before trying to scramble and takes SACK instead of taking a quick check down for 10+ and calling a TO. Would have left 6-7sec for hailmary attempt or sideline throw for FG Drive5: -3rd&9, blitz off right (5-man), pressure gets to Caleb right at 3 sec. Had Allen underneath for about 5 and Kmet for a 1st down on a late release. Took hit/SACK instead Drive6: -1st&10(:24 in 3rd), exotic blitz cause miscommunication on the line for a SACK rather than throw. Not on Caleb but he could have zipped it out to swift, thrown it away, or not retreated for a 14 yard sack -2nd&24, Caleb threw into double coverage which would have been most likely picked. Batted at the line. Had DJ who he skipped over in the progression and Rome wide open in a clean pocket Drive7: -2nd&9, Caleb panicked and dirted a screen. 2 lead blockers and 10+ yards before the next defensive player. Swift looked visibly annoyed with Caleb -3rd&9, zone blitz was picked up well but Caleb panicked and stepped up into the SACK. Had Allen wide open for a 1st down Drive8: -4th&inches, this is a reference to Caleb’s mistakes but what a play to DJ for the 1st -1st&10 (2:05 in 4th), Caleb drops the snap and is SACKed. Pressure arrives in under 3 sec. -3rd&14, Caleb shows talent on conversion -1st&10 (:38 in 4th), Caleb had Kmet wide open over the middle for 10+ but holds it for 3.5 sec before getting pressured and throws it away -2nd&10, Caleb gets upset over calling TO but the coach saved him from a delay of game. No one was set with less than 2 seconds left. On the actual play, it was a great throw and WR choice. Rome should have turned for back shoulder not over the shoulder -3rd&10, bad accuracy and choice throwing into triple coverage. 3 man route on max-pro but Allen had 1on1 -4th&10, DJ beat his guy for game winning TD but Caleb held it too long on a know free runner play. I know you like Poles Swifty but I lay a lot of this at his feet. At the beginning of the year Poles was happy with this offensive line and the amount of depth it had, what depth? None of this offensive line has worked out except for D. Wright and B. Jones, and I'm starting to worry about Jones working out. Forget about T. Jenkins, he's not able to stay healthy and should not be brought back to this team. Amegadjie needs a lot of work, he's not a capable back up right now or for the foreseeable future. And what's up with the tight ends on this team? Kemet is not even being used in the passing game nor is Everett. 67 sacks with 1 game to go. That alone is a fireable offense for Poles. The most egregious thing he has done was to not invest in this line. Patch working it does not count. He could single handingly ruin CW career because he was so dumb to think williams succeeded in college without an oline, he could do it in thr NFL too. Everybody just calmed down yes it’s been a shit show season but I am happy how things are going. We can have the best draft ever 2025 if things go how I hope it goes we can have the number two or number three pick in the draft. Hey it's not the Bears fault in finding the right coach..... it's not like there is abundance of quality coaches in this league or none that been proven. That is the problem with the NFL not for long coaching staffs, Most return to college. The league needs to find good completable coaches..Rating go down if it doesn't change soon Super bowl not so super anymore if KC wins every year.

Swifty I love you but this one is all on the big hope - Caleb. This was one of the worst QB performances I have seen all year and I see almost all the games league wide. On par with the Raiders QB's this year. He was terrible and Brown was as inept with all the wide receiver screens and clock management. Caleb's accuracy was once again off. Does he know he has a TE? As I predicted - the game was literally over at half time as no one scored in the second half. On defense the line did a nice job. Yeah the timeouts were mishandled which was predictable given HC inexperience but no matter, draft choices baby!

You people will blame the QB no matter what, whether the QB was JF, Mitch, or Caleb. It's been the same regardless of QB because our issue isn't QB. Even if it were QB, that would still mean there's another issue, the consistent issue of selecting the wrong QBs. At this point we're not left with many to point fingers at but ownership. All will be forgiven if they get it right next season, but I have no faith in that.
