The Same Bears D playing this year was the same D that sucked all last season giving up 30 points a game, up until end of the season, feasting on back up..

Justin Fields went to Pittsburgh and showed the same game-manager limitations he displayed in Chicago. He won a few games with below-average stats because it was early in the season, and the Steelers have a defense. But he fizzled out and was eventually benched for Russell Wilson, who has shown us the last four games that he's as done as we thought he was. Justin Fields was not, is not and never will be an elite NFL QB that can win playoff games for any team.

Weiderer - Tyson Baegent was an undrafted free agent who has had to learn to offensive systems in two years. He grinds to develop his body, throwing ability, and his ability to recognize coverages, blitzs, etc. He outworks "hey everybody", and runs the offense better than Fields, and Williams in terms of protections, adjustments, and rhythm. Caleb is not that intelligent, and the Bear's offensive line will always be at a disadvantage because of the lack of, or incorrect adjustments. He is the black Jeff George - so many tools, but a limited tool box. He is also not a leader - teammates roll their eyes. There was definitely part of the room wishing for a sprained throwing shoulder and a 4 to 5 week run for Tyson. I believe the coaching staff hoped for it.
