This is a clarinet ensemble arrangement of Gershwin's Summertime. The arrangement was done by Chicago Clarinet Ensemble composer-in-residence, Leo Schwartz. Doreen was featured on the Jewel Box Concert Series at Northeastern Illinois University where the Chicago Clarinet Ensemble is in residence.

No one IN HISTORY has made the clarinet more listenable an instrument than this woman. Perfectly in tune, warm woody tone with the soul of James Brown. “There will never be another you.”(Miss Doreen)

If this wasn't remarkable to listen too, than some other choices of voices would be some of the clarinetists in the 1930's to 1950's, Johnny Dodds, Milenko Stefonivic, John Carter, Jimmy Dorsey, Naomi Drucker who if I'm not mistaken preformed in the Melanchrino Living stereo during the 1940's and 1950's.
