This is without a doubt the best of the original Chicago! Never get tired of listening. Really enjoy Terry on guitar. The horn section an percussion is second to none !

Terry Kath guitar solo. First solo I learmed. I thought it was unique, different from everyone else's at the time. Hearing this years later I must say it is STILL the most unique style I've come across.

They were originally a six-piece jazz group (Robert Lamm, Terry Kath, Danny Seraphine, Walt Parazaider (retired), Lee Loughnane and James Pankow), in which they relied on the organ pedals for the bass parts (until Cetera came along).

If Kath and Cetera left Chicago and joined forces with another prominent drummer, they could have made a great trio. Kath and Cetera were that talented. Also, I believe Cetera is a very underrated bass player.

Mind you, compared to "I Am The Walrus" they're neither trite, clunky, pretentious or even nonsensical and the music is arguably a whole lot better - I know "I am The Walrus" wasn't released in 1969. I was born in '68 and this is 2022........I can fairly confidently say there have been much more trite, clunkier, pretentious and generally terrible recordings in the 54 years I've been around. But thanks for your opinion.
