Looks like Jack Damon and Lyla Novak have their own agendas. Chief Wallace Boden deserves a break to spend time with his family. Darren Ritter is a cool dude, love seeing Josef Cruz stand up for his family, happy Stella Kidd still got her girls on fire program. I already commented earlier last night after this episode ended. But I have gone back and re - watched this Promo several times+ paused every scene to look at closely and If you pause the very first scene right at the beginning where it says NBC original if you look carefully in the background it actually shows two of the bad guys coming in the Fire House side door caring guns and if you look close you'll see the driver's side of the truck if you look behind the fire truck you'll see a shadow of Severide's left shoulder where he is actually standing behind the fire truck as the two guys are coming around towards the back of the truck. So I think what happens is Kelly climbs up on top of the Fire truck and hides underneath the aerial ladder so that the baddies don't see him then the bad guys steal the Rig + take off without even knowing Kelly is on top of the Truck. , Then A few scenes later it shows them all in A warehouse of some sorts and then while Kelly is looking around to figure out what the baddies are up to, then somewhere along the way it looks like Kelly finds a wounded man and while Kelly is trying to help him it shows too of the the Bad guys coming up behind Kelly with guns and that is probably the first time they catch Kelly. So I don't think Kelly actually gets kidnapped I just think that they catch him later on while he is trying to help the wounded man. And later on towards the end of the promo it shows a quick clip of Kelly driving the truck+ possibly handcuffed to the steering wheel being held at gun point by a very scary & mean looking guy 😮 Then soon after it shows a big explosion in the distance as Stella is looking on . Im a little worried about the truck wrecking + exploding 😞 Especially with Kelly handcuffed inside it. But hopefully somehow Kelly can escape the truck before it gets wrecked + blown up. I can't imagine how scared & worried Stella is going to be especially when she+ whomever else gets to the truck wreckage 😮😢

@teresam.hackley9120 you might be right because now that I think of it 1 why would he be on top of the rig hiding if he was kidnapped. The reason why he left his phone because he saw the bad guys coming and he had to hide. I know that Stella is going to be real worried but if he's ok and I hope he's going to be ok I think that Stella is going to be real upset because he put himself in danger by jumping on the rig instead of just calling the police. I think that the writers are setting things up for there divorce. The reason why I'm saying this is because I read that if he survives this there are going to be a break thru in their relationship and it might be a good one. Kelly puts himself in situations where he don't think of the danger it might put himself in and maybe Stella is tired of that tired of worrying if he going to be alright and thus probably have to do with her pass I don't know I hope they don't break them up

@@anita6618 I think you are right about almost everything you mentioned but the one thing I think you're wrong about is Stella+ Kelly breaking up + getting a divorce. Your probably right about Stella being upset that Kelly put himself in danger instead of calling the police. But honestly as you can see from the promo I'm thinking that Kelly doesn't leave his phone behind on purpose I honestly just believe that Kelly isn't going to be close enough to the squad table to grab his phone before the bad guys show up because he does have to hide from them so I just don't think Kelly has enough time to grab his phone so that's probably why his phone gets left behind on the squad table But I'm almost sure that Kelly+ Stella are not the ones who are going to get a divorce. Because I saw another article + video that mentioned that in the upcoming episode 12 that Cruz + His wife Chloe are having marriage problems because Chloe's current job that she has is always keeping her out of town + on business meetings and if you watched last night's episode Cruz mentioned to someone at the fire house that things are not going to well between him ,+ his wife Chloe right now because her job keeps her out of town on long trips. So I'm pretty sure that it's going to be Cruz & His wife Chloe That gets a divorce not Kelly & Stella 🧡

Ive also watched this video a dozen times over and I noticed that the truck Severide drives at the end is an Indianapolis truck, I think the warehouse is just loaded with all sorts of stolen rigs including ambos (one is visible in the warehouse). Ive downloaded the entire promo video off tiktok and im gonna slow the whole thing down so i can try figure out what F.D that ambo in the warehouse is from.

So upon 'further inspection' it looks like the ambo visible in the warehouse is also an Indianapolis ambo. I also noticed as 81 pulls up outside the warehouse, the guy seems to be covering the 'Chicago Fire Department' writing on the ladder with what looks like a massive sticker (it seems to be an Indianapolis sticker). If im correct here, I reckon these guys are stealing rigs, giving them a makeover and selling them to the Indianapolis Fire Department for shady cash, the exploded rig at the end could be 81 with an "Indianapolis makeover".

It doesn't look like Kelly is kidnapped though. It looks more like he snuck up on the armed guys & got himself a ride on top of T81 only for him to be discovered later when he tried to help a wounded man. I think that's how he ended up being hand-cuffed to T38 & was forced to drive it. Also, I think T38 is the same stolen T81 that's just rebadged to be disguised as an Indianapolis Fire Dept rig.

@PredatorKingdom If you try to slow down the vid & analyze it, Kelly isn't kidnapped. In fact, it looks like he's even riding prone on the base of the aerial ladder & I think it's likely that he stayed there when the rig is in the warehouse until the coast is clear then he got down & sneaked around to find out for himself what's going on. Also, if you noticed near the end of the clip, Kelly looks like he swerved the wheel of the T38 rig. I think it's possible he intentionally crashed it & barely escaped the inferno in a way that makes Stella think he's a goner until she's gonna end up finding him somewhere amongst the wreckage.

Our poor Severide it looks like he is definitely going to go on a wild ride and encounter some dangerous guys with guns + whatever else+ possible get injured or maybe not because we have seen Kelly in some dangerous & scary situations in past seasons of FI🔥RE Against other bad guys + drug dealers but it always seems like somehow Kelly usually gets out of dangerous situations either by fighting his way out of it himself or he gets lucky+ someone else usually shows up right at the last possible second to rescue him as we have seen in several dangerous situations he's been involved in. So honestly I don't see it being any different this time around in this situation even though it looks bad for Severide in this episode I'm pretty sure that Severide will make it out of this situation alive also even if he might possibly get injured Its A sure guarantee that Severide will think quickly & figure a way to get away by himself or I almost Guarantee someone will show up just in time to help him 😊 I'm guessing that if Kelly can't get away from these criminals by himself that Stella + Ritter's cop boyfriend+ some others from house 51 Will be able to rescue him . Possibly even Capp , Tony & Cruz might possibly save Kelly. But I definitely can't wait to see what looks to be an action packed episode.And im sure Severide will survive. 😊😊😊😊

And I know several people are not happy with this season of Chicago Fire but honestly I'm really enjoying this season so far especially tonight's episode I really liked the whole episode from start to finish. The car in the building rescue at the beginning was wild+ crazy And it was an awesome rescue & team work between Severide, Stella & Rescue Squad. And the stressful stuff Cruz went through dealing with the con artist dude trying to get money from Cruz+ trying to involve Javi was Intense. Good episode 👍 And I'm glad that Cruz & Severide are getting along better now And Kelly was really supportive of Cruz+ helping him out as much as possible. And I think that Severide did a decent job as the Ranking officer. Chief Boden made A good decision leaving Kelly in charge. But Kelly actually told Stella at the end of the episode that he will be glad when Boden is back and that he doesn't want to be behind the desk anytime soon 😢

@@teresam.hackley9120 he’ll be lead officer for I think for two more episodes. I don’t think Boden will be back until the finale. Love this season but I’m not sure about Damon according to an article I read it looks like he may be Severide’s son. He seems a little old to be his son unless Severide got Damons mother pregnant at a very young age, maybe before he was involved with his fiancee Renee. Since Damon is not a candidate but a full fledged fire fighter he has to be least 22 or 23 yrs old. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out but it certainly puts in question peoples assumption or wish that the revelation in the finale will be that Stella is pregnant. It looks more likely that Severide will be a father but not the way some may have thought. Not sure about this story plot though if it is true, it seems like it will complicate Severide’s life which is something I would like to see less of.

But great options and I guess it could be a possibility that the new fire fighter Damon could be Kelly's son and it would be very interesting storyline to say the least so maybe we will eventually find out if he is related to Kelly. That seems to think That Jake Damon could possibly also be a bad Guy that's actually behind the upcoming Hijacking of truck 81 where Severide goes on a wild ride on it and that be behind the truck going missing .

This upcoming episode is going to be something else, we know Severide makes out alive since he’s mentioned in episode 12 but seeing him handcuffed to the steering wheel is unnerving considering they show him twisting the steering wheel then crash site. It’s going to be I think one of the most exciting episodes we have had in a long time. But anything with a major Severide storyline is okay by me. Nice to hear back from you too. But I’m hoping that he isn’t Severide’s son because it will make a lot of complications for Stellaride and I think they’ve given them enough grief for far too long.

At the end of this, I think he’s going to hopefully get promoted to captain or when Boden returns. I feel like they’re warming us into a new role for him still active but taking hopefully some steps back to not injure himself. I know with Hawaii Five-0 the main character, Steve McGarrett played by Alex O’Connell apologies if I misspelled his name, had to leave because he was injured, and there was no way to transition him into a less active role. I know it sounds crazy but put Boden as commissioner or deputy commissioner under someone like Hill and give a new point of view there, in an earlier season, they said that Severide could be promoted straight to battalion chief, if deemed worthy, and Joe could take over as the lieutenant for squad and bring in a young guy who can handle the more dangerous stunts. I feel like that’s the best way to go as to not lose anyone and to allow people to transition. I’m rambling, but I feel like this is a Direction a the show could go in.

@fire1655 A lot of people have been actually wishing & even clamoring for Fire to do a promotion story arc for Severide since they all felt like it's about time for him to be promoted. The thing is that Kelly doesn't seem to be interested yet in being promoted. In fact, in this episode, he seems to be quite uncomfortable being put in charge of the firehouse for a couple of shifts & he even tells his wife, Stella, that he would be glad to have Boden back in command of 51 in a few weeks time.

@anita6618 The thing with Severide is that on one hand, he's indicated to Stella that he has thoughts of wanting to lead OFI one day but when given the opportunity to command 51 for a couple of shifts in lieu of Boden, Kelly seems to be quite uncomfortable in the role. I think Kelly just probably doesn't wanna have to deal with too much responsibilities that comes with higher rank. He prefers being in charge but on the field & not being bogged down doing paperwork esp on a slow shift. I think it makes him bored & feel exhausting doing paperwork for much of a 24hr shift. It's probably why he prefers to see action than being cooped up in his office doing paperwork all day.

So I think coz it's Kelly that's missing, she takes the lead on this one since it involves her husband. Though I also think that Herrmann plays a big part in being the "dad" to everyone.

I think Sev intentionally crashed the rig coz if you look closely, you can see him swerve the wheel. So most likely is that he crashed it but it came out worst than what he had in mind. My guess is fuel leaked & caused the rig to blow up, thus it's why when Stella & Squad 3 arrived, all they see is the flaming remains of the wreckage.

I'm so sad the 1990 Spartan Gladiator Truck 81 used by the La Grange Fire Department since 2020 in Season 8 Episode 13 A Chicago Welcome that got being destroyed and exploded in this episode 😥🚒I'm mostly will thinking that they are getting a new truck in the next episode of Season 12

@firefighterfan2010 Yea. It's either that or T81 gets abandoned at some point & gets recovered by 51 on their way to finding Kelly. I think the rig that blew up is T38, which I think is due to Kelly possibly intentionally crashing it in a way that makes it look like he's a goner but then he gets found alive by Stella & 51 somewhere in the wreckage.
