Actually, the Glock has a safety on the trigger. It’s like a secondary trigger that avoids (or should, as in my experience when you got the finger on the trigger you automatically push the safety too) unwanted discharges or stupid people to use it but clearly it’s not a safety like it would be on a rifle

As people already stated Glocks don't have safety and have a 3 safety mechanism. But it's highly likely as all Chicago Police Department Officers buy their own weapon the characters bought a Sig Sauer or a Smith and Wesson. I personally only use a Glock when I have to and love the Sig Sauer P320 and P226 much better than a Glock.
