Definitely saurkraut and mustard ! For the holidays we love to make braised saurkraut with pork chops baked in the oven! Delish❤ I'm a sucker for a good hot 🌭. Once in a awhile costco run hot dog is 👍. Good food always makes me happy 🎉 Love watching y'all friday nights ❤

At home I like grilled hotdogs topped with baked beans. I usually order dogs either sauerkraut and mustard or ketchup mustard relish and raw onion. I’ve never experienced the Chicago dog! I think I’m missing out.

An old irish stadium food was a Crubeen (pigs trotter) . Very salty and savoury, somethings along the lines of pork belly but saltier. Very nice with a good pint of Guinness or beer. Not everyones cup of tea but if you love them you love them. Would be great slow cooked with spicing i reckon... Hot dogs look great!

No, ashamed to say never had a Chicago hot dog, but I know I would love it! Definitely all about the sauerkraut hot dog. Grew up having that cause my Dad's Great-Grandparents were from Germany in the 1800's. Love Limburger cheese too! 😊❤

This just screams summer to me! I’m going to try that cheese sauce. I lived in Chicago for a short time (I’m originally from St. Louis) but now I live outside Philly. Hot dogs to me scream baseball! And ever since Chickie & Pete’s here I love a super seasoned fry with a cheese dipping sauce! Ketchup is the only thing I need on my hot dog, but I wouldn’t turn down some fried onions!

But here in Detroit we call them Coney dogs oddly 😂 I believe it has to do with Greek immigrants, many years ago, who came here and started calling them that to compete with Coney Island in NY 🤷‍♀️🌭

Definitely a Chicago dog first! Then, sauerkraut and spicy mustard, then chopped raw onions, dill pickle relish and mustard, maybe a chili cheese "Coney Dog", I have also seen a mac and cheese pulled pork barbecue sauce dog. Macaroni salad, cole slaw, french fries, there are just so many options! Me personally, I think it's all in the dog itself. I love a natural casing Vienna, Hebrew National or Nathans. Gotta have that snap. No ketchup ever😂😂😂😂

I am Middle Eastern, I add a some olive with the frying oil when making French fries. I always use Yukon gold potatoes cuz they’re sweet, and I dip my fries with tangy sheep milk yogurt 🤤bellwether farms sheep milk yogurt to be exact! Best snack ever 🤤

Costco 🌭 20 min from frozen [15 defrosted] @ 400 in the toaster oven basket. The NYC street 🌭 onions [ 🧅 + 🍅 slow roasted to perfection]; sauerkraut and mustard and or sweet relish are amazing.

Love chicago dogs but without the tomato and extra mustard and relish! Sometimes without the sport peppers too because the ones I get when I make them at home are so spicy and the juices go down my throat and it hurts so bad 😭 they taste so good but hurt!! I might try swapping them out for peperoncini since the taste is very similar.
