Because Biden reversed the 'Stay in Mexico' policy when he came into office and has allowed anyone who claims asylum, whether true or not, to come into the country and wait for their asylum hearings which can take years to be heard in immigration court. Biden also instituted the 'Humanitarian Parole' program which allows another 30,000 per month from Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Cuba to stay here for two years, while immigration courts (totally backlogged) check to see if they can stay. Another issue is if these people disappear into sanctuary cities (that don't allow law enforcement or ICE to get involved) and stay whether the courts deem them legal or not. Americans have no rights or say so, but we have to support the illegals.
