Pretty much the best and most informative practical demonstration of those 2 amps i have seen. And to think you can buy these at Guitar in a Box too.

Hey Keith, Bruce did a custom repair job for me too. He repaired a 40 watt Tweaker for me. He is the real deal. I love his products.

I bought a Rebel 20 because of this video and it sounds every bit as good as Keith says!

I just bought mine on a second hand market and I'm waiting the delivery. This video sold me the amp.

Bruse needs more recognition than he gets! The man is a genius! My favorite of his works is the Randall RM100 amp series he designed with the replaceable modules. I was able to see George Lynch in concert playing the very first one built and it was utterly amazing! That sound has been what I have been chasing tone wise for years! The ability to change out a module and go from Fender to Marshal tones and more is just pure genius!

The Armageddon and Vengence amps are pretty "metally", but the Renegade, Rebels, and Tourmasters are all about blues to hard rock with outstanding clean channels as well. Def go check em out. I love mine!

I've also got a Rebel 20 and put through my 4x12" cab and I can't believe a) the versatility of it, it gives me just about everything I could want and b) what was i doing late last century with huge 100 watt heads that were so unnecessary. The volume I get from my Rebel 20 is plenty huge. Egnater rules !!

Just bought a 20 (the first one) based on this vid. It's amazing alright. So versatile, probably the best small head I've ever used.

The Rebel 30 is one of the best amps I have ever purchased!!!
@Justin.Franks10 жыл бұрын
He's sending the output of the Rebel into a rack-mounted power amp. Then the power amp drives the dozen 12" speakers in his three 4x12 cabs. Power amps for this application are designed to take the amplified signal from a guitar amp and cleanly boosting the power without affecting or coloring the tone.

Howland and Egnater kick ass! got a used Rebel 30, not an MkII, all original, no issues, sounds just like these. Fantastic Sounding amp, the voicing and pre to power amp exchange inspire. I'm discovering that feel is what you use a tube amp for. Better expression, responsiveness, and tone than other amps. Put a new EH 12ax7 or NOS 66 Amperex in V1, got greatness. It's true, it's all true!! I think a 3 or 4 10" would probably punch the crap out of anything, lol. Using a 112 for now, weather broke today, gonna fire it up! My Superbowl today will be with a JBL D-123 (Gerst's favorite, mine as well per 1985 studio experience) or a V-30. D-123 open back, V-30 closed back. Like it should be, heheh!! Veridict later.

I am blown away by the two Egnater amps that I have owned. The guy in the video is right, regarding Bruce should've sold the amps at a higher price point to get more respect from the guitar player community. People think an amp that inexpensive can't be good, but they're wrong. My Tweaker is amazing.

I have the Egnator tweaker and absolutely love it. Lots of tone shaping ability within one unit and that helps me with every different room I play in. Most all of the videos on my page have the tweaker behind them. BB preamp pedal pairs very nice with it as well.

Bruce Egnater knows what hes doing. He designs very fine amps. Never owned any but i know people that do. The Rebel 20 and Tweeker sound very nice. High dollar tone without the price.

have a Tweaker, love it both live and for the recording things. I also like Rebel-20, thou less than Tweaker. Want to try a Tourmaster - also for home use :-)

ahh I was just talking about a rack mt tube amp I never knew about the preamp I have a TM 4100 it sounds so perfect I refuse to muddy it up with effects although a tube screamer would be great for a lead boost on OD1

Thats unfortunate you had a bad experience with Egnater, I personally called them twice just to ask a couple questions, and they were very helpful, and even sent me a part I wanted for my speaker cab. Every company has good and bad, but for me at least, I'm a convert. My Renegade 65 head is outstanding.

6:56what does he mean that the rebel is being slaves and power amp section is being compressed? Great content here, amazing tone btw
@tuckerlane79954 жыл бұрын
The rebel is being pushed to the top, making it more reactive with playing, as the tubes are very hot.

wow this is most enthusiastic pro endorsement of a piece of equipment that wasnt some "signature" seires named after the guy! And it sounds like he even paid for the stuff. Thats actually really impressive. I saw these at guitar center and thought they were for metal heads but i gotta check them out.
