I’ve been to Mac Arthur’s soul food a number of times, the smothered Chicken, greens, yams, and Peach Cobbler goodness when I first came to Chicago bout 18 years ago! My art peer n master muralist “Raahman Statik” painted the mural in the Haitian resturaunt. Such a wealth of Artisans in food and visual arts here in the Chi!

Lior's Finally Opened? I use to live on 103rd & Green, a few blocks away & they were always fixing the place, a very slow pace & I remember when that location had the only Black Owned Grocery store. I need to go back in my old neighborhood & check out their food👍🏿

Ouuu I miss my hometown food! Living on the west coast just isn’t the same 😂 Pearl’s Place will forever be my spot! Lite House in Hyde Park is a close second! I lived across the street when they opened in 2016..the jerk salmon wrap was my fave. 10/10 highly recommend!
