When I was driving my brand new, only had 7 miles on it, NSX red, PMC edition TLX home from the dealership, I got a chip in the windshield. Then about 3 weeks later, which was only 2 weeks after getting the chip repaired, I got another rock to the window causing a huge, spidering crack. It took 2 months to get replaced.

I would recommend using a degreaser for that stain instead of just an enzyme cleaner it would help reduce the time takes to get rid of the oil stain. I only use ammo nyc’s degreaser but I’m sure other will work just as good.

A tip for ya get a disposable cup and cut a hole for some rubber hose (you can get big or small diameter) that way you can put that on your shopvac and suck out as much of the nastyness as you can. My worst disaster story was similar but instead of concrete it was battery acid over more of my car leading to over $19,000 worth of damage as the paint needed to be stripped to bare metal and resprayed. Afterwards some spots have bled thru the new paint too so it was a nightmare

September was a bad car month for my family. My cousin totaled my fathers Range Rover, and my sister sideswiped a trailer on the passenger side of our passat and later she made a risky lane change causing someone to hit the driver door of the passat, so that’s 2 cars down. Then last Thursday something big hit my windshield while doing 75 mph and it caused a spiral crack in my freshly ceramic coated windshield

But my first day driving it a semi blew a tire and it went straight at my front bumper. Hopefully in some time I can get some money together to bring it by you guys as you are local to me.

Bad luck story? Honda offered to trade my 2020 truck for a new 2022 model. This, while we waited on my wife's suv to get an oil change. I told the salesman "I'll bring my truck tomorrow for the swap". I spent ALL morning cleaning/detailing my truck as much as I could. (it was January). Vaccuming, waterless wash, quick detail spray, etc. And during my last inspection, I noticed some crums on the center console. So I grabbed my vacuum again and the retractable reel where it was plugged into and which I've had for a couple of years hanging from my garage roof, decided to fall right on the top side of the trucks door. My body went numb!! 😩. I almost cried. That truck had not one scratch. It put a 2inch dent. Honda took it anyway. I'm sure they also had a dent specialist.

I purchased a 2022 M3P. About 6 weeks later, I was parked at a restaurant when an SUV with a family pulled next to me. I parked in the corner spot and had my Tesla as close to the curb as possible, giving me about 3 feet from my door to the parking line of my space. The SUV's rear passenger kicked their door open with force and it hit my car causing a dent just under the door handle. They took off but Tesla cam got their plates and I filed a police report. Their insurance took full responsibility and after 2 months of waiting, I had my door fixed. About 8 weeks after, I was in a parking spot charging my Tesla when a work truck from an air conditioning company backed into my front bumper. They hit my car and my alarm and flashers were going, they pulled up, backed up, and hit my car a second time. They also took off but Tesla cam got their information and their insurance company is taking full responsibility. My car is due to get fixed at the Tesla Collision center with estimated damages at $2,500.
