May felt so short! I feel like I saw "It's gonna be May" memes for longer than the month actually lasted lol. That dress is so pretty btw, love the 70's vibes!! And your transplanted sunflowers look better than my direct sown, it is my first year growing them at least so I have an excuse! :)

It did go by so quickly! I wish I had a photo from the day I transplanted the sunflowers bc they did not look happy 😆 but they bounced back!

Hello from the southwest suburbs Chicago Gardener! It's amazing how much you can grow in containers and raised beds, very impressive! Did you direct sow your zinnias in the beds? I'm still waiting for my husband to finish the rest of our raised beds, so I started my zinnias indoors under grow lights. Maybe try identifying your mystery plants with a plant app?

The mystery plant looks a lot like my Maximilian Sunflowers.

I did the same thing with my gomphrena seeds. I planted 8 weeks before last frost. Mine however are planted in the ground and they are about 15 inches tall and Ive already harvested some. But I think they're a little leggy so im definitely going back to the 6 weeks also. The caterpillar cage is so cool. I might need one!

I got it from gardeners supply but it’s been sold out for awhile. There are very similar looking stands on Amazon if you search for “3 tiered plant stand”

They can usually do full or part sun here! Since you’re in a warmer zone they could probably benefit from some afternoon shade.
