I grew up about a mile from Nino's. I used to go there for the pasta dishes and to chat with the old man. Great stories, like the one about how he threw Ray Kroc out of his place because he was trying to get him to be a partner in his hamburger joint. Maybe that's why I liked the old man. He was another sout' sider who lost the lottery. Great memories and superb dinners at Nino's.
