Chichester Sloe Fair 2018
Regarded as the South of England's Largest One Day Fair, the Sloe Fair in Chichester takes place every year on the 20th October. The fair is protected by royal charter and dates back to 1107. Obviously when it first started, like so many of the UK's traditional fairs, it began as a chance to trade and sell livestock with a carnival atmosphere, with rides appearing much much later.
The fair today is organised by the London branch of the Showmans Guild of Great Britain with the likes of the Walls, Searles, Noyces and Bensons bringing their rides to the fair.

I don't think it's the largest one day fair, I have been to bigger.

Which do you think is larger, be interested to go to it. I know there are bigger ones that run more than a day, and I suspect there could be some bigger one day fairs up north. Definitely keen to go to a bigger one day fair I the South of England.
