Actually, there's a moment where Chi-Chi rushed to Goku's side when he was knocked out by Frost. Shortly after he came to, she hugged him and cried on his shoulder, and he got all shy and embarrassed about it. It was really sweet. 😊

Yeah, I agree. I feel like ChiChi is one of those characters that you come to understand and even appreciate as you get older. 😊 Dragon Ball might be about the epic duels and godlike powers(especially these days), but I do think a character or two who tries to be realistic and a voice of reason, even if they can be a bit irrational at times is needed. ChiChi is misunderstood in my opinion. And although I certainly don't blame her for wanting to settle down and be a housewife for Goku(especially after watching him get badly hurt at the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament), I do wish Goku and ChiChi had a few more adventures together. ❤

As I've gotten older, I now take back on some of the terrible things I've said about her. There are some things which I do feel sorry for her. I'm sorry for the fact that Goku isn't romantic towards her. He doesn't really spend enough time with her and he's usually messy. That's what I can see. What I don't agree with Chichi is that she shouldn't be so overbearing towards her son Gohan. I know she wants what is best for her boy. But she can be very annoying. Besides, there's more to life than sticking your nose into scholarship.

Ya, he got her pregnant 4 months after. The martial arts tournament is always on May 7th, and we know Goku was 18 when he was in the 23rd tournemant. If you go by the theory that his birthday is in April, this makes him a month and 18 years when he marries ChiChi. And we know Gohan was born a year later, on May 18th. This would make his date of conception sometime in September (which is four months after the tournament and their wedding)

Not that Goku would ever be unfaithful, but I do sometimes get the feeling that while Goku does love his wife and kids, the thrill of the fight is the true love of Goku's life. And with that in mind, I think that Chichi being able to give him a run for his money at those early points in his life 100% played into his feelings for her.

And that sadness and loneliness was no doubt due to her losing both her beloved husband Goku and her beloved son Gohan. Permanently no less.

Yeah. I'm not gonna lie. Even though, Goku never lost his cheerful personality, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. 😢 The poor guy was essentially forced to raise himself after losing his beloved grandfather Grandpa Gohan. 😢 Plus, he was completely stuck in his lonely bubble, prior to meeting Bulma. So seeing him thrive and have so many friends and a family to call his own in his wife Chi-Chi and his sons Gohan and Goten just to name a few members is very satisfying to me. 😊 Goku's journey from being a lonely, but sweet little boy to a kind and strong man who is loved by many is actually kinda inspirational to me, because it reminds me that even if you have a sad childhood, you can still have a happy life. 😊
