I don't know how many times I've watched this - each time reveals something new. Two of the greatest jazz pianists in history playing one of the greatest jazz compositions in history, itself a riff off of one of the most beautiful classical compositions in history. Can it EVER get as good as this? Chick, rest in beloved, well earned peace. Hiromi, every moment you grace this planet with your incomparably artful presence is one to treasure. LL&P.

One of the greatest jazz pianists of the last generation playing with, perhaps, the greatest pianist of the last 20 years. Wonderful. Get to finally see her in NYC next March. Blue Note….yeeha

Two of the greatest jazz pianists who ever lived. If you ever get the chance to hear Ms. Uehara in person, remember, she, too will pass, so don't pass on the chance. This performance is nothing short of spectacular, beginning with a reminder that the piano is a percussive instrument. So very inventive. And such a great interpretation of Rodrigo! "Conthierto de Orangejuice" was never so tasty. Thank you both. Brava, bravo!

I’ve been to Spain many times. Many memories. As I listen, I feel flying in the air - as I’m to fly out to a different direction sitting in the airplane listening to this. Thank you all - May all beings be happy.

Sometimes I enjoy being human. Probably one of the first songs I heard from Corea on continuous loop. The two together are simply stunning. Not easy to ignore the audience at the end of that piece. Pity

Chick actively asks them to clap and they are absolutely right on, so I am not sure what you'd want?

@@thomaslehmanbaritone is ok..I prefer a few seconds of silence when a great piece is over.. When it comes to frenetic applause afterwards, that proves for me an audience with ears. But..."whatever floats your boat"...:-)

I'm really laughing at the phrase "Sometimes I enjoy being human." As a fellow human who often struggles with being a human, I agree that good music does help. Maybe this is my new life motto.
