For marination :
1 kg chicken

Red chilli 1 tsp
Crushed chilli 1 tsp
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Homemade biryani masala 2 tbsp
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Oil 1 cup
5 cloves
Zeera 1 tsp
2 chopped tomatoes
2 medium sized fried onions
1/2 cup water
For Rice :
Water as required
Salt 2 tsp
3-4 bay leaves
3 cardamom
3 star anis
5-6 slices of lemon
Soaked rice 800 grams
