They do enjoy a good pat. And are very patient to get it mostly. The golden sometimes appears between your legs which is not terribly helpful. And if I lay on the ground for any reason I am fair game.

I would dig a cave under the stable and put sand in it. The fowl will thank you with health and well-groomed feathers. In order to tame the already big chickens, treats such as mealworms are quite suitable. Good luck and thanks for the video series. Greetings from Germany

Thanks for the Advice. What sort of sand would be best? Washed White or just natural?
@markushofmann813
@markushofmann813 4 жыл бұрын
@@simonhahnel8092 Quarz sand or play sand is suitable for poultry. If ash from untreated wood accumulates (chimney, campfire) you can also mix it with the sand. The fine ash particles fight parasites and protect against infestation. The sand bath should be cleaned regularly, i.e. remove leaves and branches, replace lumpy sand, and sort out faeces if necessary.

Such a pleasure watching you make your Shed, chicken coop & interaction with your four legged friends is a delight, love the fact they need to be near you & that kind touch is all they require. Neat & practical chicken coop for your chooks should certainly give good results. Achievements reached with calm & collective ideas that makes one smile. Thank you 4 sharing. Oh by the way final touches with the girls was a delightful sight teaching chooks how to ascend/descend .

I like your calmness, you do it in such a relaxed "easy" way, it is so nice!!! Will you not put the chicken some lower poles to stand up on? the one in the coop is it not too high? Do not mind me, but i just write all that comes into my head.Love the way you work and what you do. No pretenses, just practical and nice.

You are absolutely correct. I added a lower roosting pole yesterday. They are just too young too get to the higher pole. Thanks for your input and observations.
