I've had my original Showtime Rotisserie since 2003, looks exactly like this one. And I still use it all the time and it works as awesome as ever. What made the classic 2001 infomercial so epic is that this product really does everything the infomercial promised. Everything comes out amazing in this rotisserie. Thanks for the cool video.

Im one that does the rub, then trusses with string When these steps done, ive found one easy way to mount on the rotisserie prongs is set just the prongs in grey base standing upright, then place chicken vertical, neck side down, legs up, and center on prongs, puncture meat, then push chicken down prongs and they'll poke out by legs. Place other end (cog wheel) on rotisserie and place in cooker. Might not work for everyone, but easiest method I've found so far. Happy rotisserying!!❤

That Ronco is a gift from the gods. The juices don't drip but continuously flow around the bird. My Ronco failed/broke and my family was devastated. It's a great product. Miss it so much.

Found a Compact Showtime Rotisserie on eBay, white, in original box-these were the 1st models. It is new/old stock, came with everything. They are built like tanks,Ron Popeil wanted a well made product. Will try a turkey breast in this week before Christmas. I do like the inside light and it doesn't heat up the kitchen in the summer.

Got mine @Restore ( Habitat for Humanity) for $10.00 about three days ago. It is rotating right now with a chicken that was brined overnight with salt, sugar, black peppercorn and bay leaves and than a homemade dry rub made with garlic and onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano and thyme. The house smells amazing. Thank you so much for a great video, easy to understand and to the point. Your video was so good that I did not even need to watch another one to get it.

About 2 years ago I found one in a second hand store for $12 and I have been using it every Sunday ever since. I can’t get enough of it, I have the bigger model with digital time. If you have a chance to buy one I recommend you get it.

@@Yui789esss Brine the bird for 6 to12 hrs, then add fresh herbs to the cavity it takes some experimenting I put some soy sauce and pepper on the outside, however using less salt and replacing it with soy sauce helps the brine add soy flavor. We all taste differently so just have fun. Rosemary, Thyme, and lemon grass are good starters to put inside. Also if you need Kebob Skewers you can find used and new on Ebay.

Good job. I have missed my old rotisserie that I gave away to one of my kids. I recently bought the new stainless steel one. It did a great chicken so I tried ribs and they were beautiful but I did cook them a bit too long. My fault entirely. I'm doing a salmon filet tonight. One note. I found that a rack of baby back ribs cut in half just fit in the fish basket. A bit hard to compress the cover to fit but I managed it. I have a large electric smoker outside but it's close to a hundred degrees and I prefer to cook indoors while it's that hot. I did note that without the vegetable pan they sell you can take a small lightweight sauce pan and cook vegetables like heating beans with it on top of the rotisserie. I would also guess you can take a foil pan and heat vegetables in it on top as well. Just cover it with foil to hold the heat in. I don't remember when ron started selling the ovens but I do remember him selling the vegetable slicing machine that I still have two of from back around 1969. It can make regular fries, crinkle cut fries, and waffle cut fries.
