Chicken Marsala, not just chicken marsala it tastes better than a restaurant. Marsala cream sauce is absolutely amazing, and I've made my braised beef basil marsala tortellini in a video before. Now we are going with the classic chicken marsala. You can serve it with pasta, or you can serve it on mashed potatoes. I opted for the buttery, delicious mashed potatoes and a nice steamed green bean. The family devoured this, and this one does not take long to make, and you can have a restaurant worthy meal at home.

3 large chicken breasts, butterflied
1/3 -1/2 cup flour
3/4 teaspoons seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 tablespoon butter
12 oz portabello mushrooms (you can use as little as 8 ounces)
1 shallot
1 tablespoon garlic
1 teaspoon chicken boullion granules
2/3 cup marsala wine
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
5-6 sprigs of fresh thyme
More Salt To Taste
Simmer sauce until thickened (8-10 minutes)
