Chicken Pork Adobo with liver spread is another delicious tasting adobo variation that you should try. This dish is made with chicken and pork slices cooked in soy sauce, vinegar and garlic. With the addition of liver spread ( paté ) the adobo braising sauce gives more richer, meatier flavour. The liver spread also helps thicken the sauce. You may also want to add hard-boiled eggs.
INGREDIENTS:
- 900g chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 280g pork belly, chopped
- ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup soy sauce, adjust as needed
- worcestershire sauce, a few drops
- 1 head garlic, peeled and crushed
- cooking oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 3 tbsp sweet dark soy sauce
- 1 cup water, adjust as needed
- 1 can (87g ) liver spread or paté
- 5 pcs hard-boiled eggs, you can add many as you want
