I am in Cumberland Co... Just an FYI, cook the potatoes and more carrots in the stock after removing the chicken before adding the noodles.) They cook in the broth and one less pot to wash and the russet potatoes also thicken the broth a bit. I also add fresh thyme stems and a sprig of rosemary tied with twine to the chicken in the pot And if you are daring... pierce a small lemon with sharp tines of a fork and cook with the chicken when making the stock. Add a handful of chopped parsley at the end when done too. This is a Winter comfort food with crusty bread and one of my favorites!!! Just how we make it and sharing with you:)
